Joint Airport Point of Entry Assessment Conducted at RIA

The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC), and authorities of Roberts International Airport (RIA), on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, conducted a joint assessment of the country’s main Point of Entry (POE) as part of ongoing national preparedness efforts for public health emergencies.

The assessment comes amid heightened regional vigilance for emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, including Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).
